A new grail knight in Galahad
Must I endure yet another usurpation of my role? Instead of having a fool like me achieve the grail, the tradition has embraced a new "holy" knight. How can he be so holy if he was the progeny of Lancelot's sexual transgression? And out of wedlock no less! Does Galahad prove to be the better grail knight? I would even prefer Gawain to this holier-than-thou bastard.

I do believe Galahad is a better man and Knight than I ever could be. My weakness has gotten to me and I have suffered greatly because of it. I have seen the Grail with mine own eyes and because of the passion I have for Guennievere (which I cannot hide) I am unable to continue. I came on this quest because the Grail heald me and I needed to find out what it was and why it appeared but I have realized I cannot go on. A priest told me I will never be able to see the Grail but my Son will. I will now return to the Court of the King and continue practicing on becomming a priest simply because of the wrongings I have done. Galahad is stronger and wiser than I will be and he will never make petty mistakes like myself. At least I kno that mine own blood has become the Grail Winner.
While I cannot praise myself and claim that I am the better grail knight, I must defend myself. Out of no fault of mine was I born illegitmately. The actions of my mother and father can bare no hardships for me! The fact that I have lived my life out of sin, unlike yourself, is how it was destined for me to be. I was declared the "pure" Knight and I strived hard to avoid falling into my desires. Be not angry towards me because of my unfortunate birth, but be glad that there has been a Knight that was truly pure and chaste, and that has discovered the grail.
